Shaun Barnett is one of the most recognised names in New Zealand tramping literature and photography. He co-wrote the Montana Award-winning Classic Tramping in New Zealand (with Rob Brown) and his book Tramping, A New Zealand History (with Chris Maclean) was long listed for the 2016 Ockham Book Awards. He is also a talented professional photographer whose images often adorn the pages of both his books and other outdoor publications.
Shaun is one of New Zealand’s most experienced trampers and has also spent time in the mountains of South America, Australia, Canada, Nepal, the UK, Italy and the USA.
At the festival he’ll be tutoring the two day Adventure Writing School.
