The weather gods come through on Easter weekend in time for a multisport mission up Fiordland’s Mitre Peak. After scouting out a potential highline spot a decision is made to add in some paragliding to minimize the bush bashing on the way down. After summitting Mitre Peak and bivvying on the summit, preparations are made for the rigging of the highline using some trad climbing gear and a few boulders but it’s 1600m of straight vertical exposure to the fjord below.
