Wanaka Session
Session 5

Current president of Federated Mountain Clubs, Megan has spent a life in the hills packrafting, biking, climbing and tramping. She has completed a number of notable trips in New Zealand, including the first descent of the Gorge River in Westland. When not adventuring in the wild, Megan spends her time on recreational and environmental advocacy, and working alongside volunteers to maintain and protect NZ’s unique backcountry huts and tracks network. Megan will speak about the places and values at risk for us as adventurers under the recently announced Fast Track Approvals Bill, and FMC’s work on the bill to date.
