Session Q1

Born and raised in British Columbia, Canada, Christina, aka Lusti, has had a lifelong love of the mountains. She is an accomplished World Cup ski racer and Olympian; however, her true passion is for the backcountry and she has become one of North America’s most accomplished ski mountaineers.

After retiring from racing, Lusti trained as a ski guide and has gone on to achieve many first ski descents including Consternation Chute in the Selkirks and the south couloir of Adamant Mountain in 2011, a line bisected by a 50-foot vertical wall of ice that she skied solo.

Her most recent mission, alongside friend Brette Harrington, is one of the boldest to date. On 4 May 2022 the pair made a remarkable first ski descent of Polar Moon (1200m, 45°) on Walker Arm, Baffin Island, a stunning, exposed 1200m line down Mt. Qulliqtaliujaq above Kangiqtualuk Agguqti.
