Wanaka Venues
Lake Wanaka’s spectacular location at the foot of the Southern Alps with the wilderness of the Mt Aspiring National Park nearby makes it a magnet for outdoor lovers the world over. Visitors come to go boating, hiking, climbing, skiing or mountain biking, just to name just a few. A lively town buzzing with a carefree spirit, Wanaka’s picture-perfect location and easy access to the outdoors makes it the ultimate base.
The primary venue for events is the Lake Wanaka Centre. This is at 89 Ardmore Street, right on the lake front in Wanaka.
It’s a modern building and we set up a 350 seat tiered theatre, huge six metre screen and big stereo sound. Also in the Lake Wanaka Centre is our Café / Bar serving cold beer, wine and juice. Hot freshly baked muffins and cookies, amongst other snacks. Look for the Nepalese Prayer Flags.
We also use the Cinema Paradiso and the Wanaka Community Hub.

The Queenstown Memorial Centre is an ideal film festival venue. 400 seats, a cafe and bar, our pop up library, trade show and a warm friendly atmosphere.
