In 2025, we were thrilled to distribute $7,450 in grants to eight incredible organisations and individuals, thanks to funds raised through our charity auction and boosted by support from our National Film Tour.
We backed the M!NT Trust as they delivered a three-day mountain programme at Cardrona Alpine Resort, giving people with intellectual disabilities the chance to experience the joy of skiing in a safe, supportive environment.
We helped the Wānaka Multi-sport Trapping Group establish a new trapline in the Rumbling Burn, protecting local biodiversity. Kahu Youth received funding to run youth development programmes designed to empower our rangatahi through connection, creativity, and challenge. We also supported four-year-old Freddie, who lives with Pontine Tegmental Cap Dysplasia (PTCD), by helping his family purchase a FreeWheel attachment so he can explore off-road with greater independence and freedom.
We assisted Thomas, a talented blind alpine skier, in purchasing specialist audio equipment to enhance his ability to compete for New Zealand at para-sporting events. In Christchurch, 180 Degrees Charitable Trust received support for kayak training as they help secondary students prepare for the legendary Coast to Coast.
And finally, we helped young Wānaka sailors Madi Smith and Oliver Wyeth attend a Royal New Zealand Yacht Squadron youth training week to further their skills on the water.
